This Villa is the perfect weekend getaway location. Complete with a private plunge pool and private lake access (with kayaks), the villa is designed to blend in seamlessly with the surrounding environment. The interior decor and floor plan is stunning and ideal for a relaxing vacation by the water. Highly recommend for groups less than 10!

Went on a day trip to celebrate my birthday to this amazing property. I absolutely loved the place coz it was very calm and serene with all the beautiful views and the great architecture of the property itself. Most importantly the place has a lot of privacy compared to a hotel of such nature.

The place is stunning and incredibly peaceful, with excellent construction. The staff is warm and accommodating, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy time with friends. The meals were superb.

A beautiful private villa situated closer to negombo. The space and the architecture of the place is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and quite clean. Ideal for a couple or a family or even for a group of friends to just chill in.

Had such a peaceful getaway at Solar Crab with my friends - the getaway we didn’t knew we needed! The interiors are beautiful, the surroundings are calm, and the caretaker was incredibly kind (his rice and curry was amazing btw!). Just an hour from Colombo, but feels like a complete escape. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing experience with Kitulgala Rafting by Rapid Adventures. We booked their day package with lunch. The food was good and halal. The staff were friendly and supportive. The equipment was in good condition, and they maintained proper safety standards. Unfortunately, the SD card from the camera we rented got corrupted, so we couldn’t access the photos. They refunded the camera rental fee and promised to try recovering the photos. I hope they’re able to retrieve them. I’ll update this review once we get them. Overall, a highly recommendable place for an affordable adventure. Looking forward to trying their other packages as well.

We just had a fantastic family day out with Rapide Adventures. Rafting and canyoning. Both activities were well worth it. Rafting was just the right level for our family. Kids are 11 and 13 years old. The rapids were great and gave us all an adrenaline rush. The canyoning was also a good challenge for everyone. Some of the jumps were too high for my kids and even for the parents. But the option to skip them was always available. The guides were professional for both activities. One of our highlights so far! Definitely do it if you're in the area.

My experience kayaking at Kala Wewa was truly exceptional. The guides were not only amazing but also incredibly friendly, adding a warm touch to the entire adventure. Their support throughout the journey was commendable, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and safe.

We’ve lived an amazing experience this afternoon with Kayaking Kalawewa team!!! The place is amazing, beautiful fauna and flora, and amazing view. Special mention to Lucie’s guide who was so nice and who told us many interesting info concerning the area and the animals. We recommend 100% ! Thanks again! Sarah, Lucie et Elise 💃🏽

Had a great experience kayaking at Kala Wewa. The water was calm and perfect for a relaxing ride, even for beginners. The views were beautiful, especially around sunset, and the whole place felt peaceful and quiet. The team was very friendly, supportive, and well-organized. They gave clear instructions and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the experience. Definitely recommend trying kayaking here if you’re visiting the area!

What a magical day with the team and also with nature. A chilled, relaxing, humorous, educational, natural, inspiring and authentic day. The team are passionate about their work for conservation and the environment, and it shines through. This magical place is for us today as well as for future generations. The team’s zest for life, nature and their passion to make this an enjoyable day for their customers is heart warming. This was really our best tour whilst in Sri Lanka - and we have covered a lot of ground here. We met up in an extremely rural aeea and their warmth shone through immediately. We full heartedly recommend this company and will be visiting again, this time with our grown up children so they can take in the beauty of this magical place. Thank you all, especially K & S!

The Kalawewa kayaking experience was an amazing opportunity to witness the uniqie ecosystem of this wonderful island. Beautiful landscape with amazing species and although we didn't see any elephants on the day because of tne weather, the amount of birds we spotted was spectacular! Great experience, made more enjoyable by the unique in depth knowledge of the people that run the tours.Friendly and accommodating, that went out of their way to make our experience unique! They are avtively encouraging a sustainable way of tourism and truly care for the unique amd diverse enviroment.

At first, I thought the cost for one ride was a bit high, but after meeting the wonderful crew, all my doubts disappeared. We arrived around 2 PM and were warmly welcomed with a fresh drink. They gave us a brief overview of the tour and then took us on a safari jeep ride around Kalawewa. After a helpful introduction to kayaking, we set off for a 4–5 km ride. Along the way, you can spot beautiful birds, fish, trees, and sometimes elephants. Unfortunately, we didn’t see any elephants, but the crew will advise you on the best times to spot them. Fantastic crew and an unforgettable experience. Don’t worry about the cost—it’s absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

A great 5 hour kayaking experience on. No experience is necessary as a guide is with you all the time and can do most of the paddling if you prefer. Loads of photos opportunities as there is a huge amount of wildlife- elephants, especially tuskers, do go to the water in the dry season, but we were not there at that time so none were spotted. You may get wet so wear appropriate clothing! Life jackets are provided and must be worn. It was great fun and thoroughly recommended

What an incredible experience! From the peaceful kayaking through beautiful waterways to the amazing bird watching, every moment was memorable. The highlight was definitely seeing elephants in their natural habitat—an unforgettable sight! The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone had a safe and enjoyable experience. Everything was well organized, and the natural beauty of the surroundings made the trip even more special. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves nature, wildlife, and outdoor adventures. It was truly one of the best experiences I've had, and I can't wait to come back again!

This was my first time trying white water rafting, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but the Rapid Adventure team made the experience very comfortable. We were given a proper safety briefing and helped with all the equipment before heading to the river. The guides stayed with us throughout and explained everything clearly, so after the first few minutes I was able to relax and enjoy the ride.

We really enjoyed the white-water rafting experience in Kitulgala. Everything was easy from the beginning, with a warm welcome at the Action Center followed by a clear safety briefing and all the equipment we needed. The guides were friendly and made sure everyone understood what to do before we got onto the river, which was especially reassuring for the first-time rafters in our group. The one-hour journey along the Kelani River was a great mix of gentle sections and little bursts of adrenaline. We loved floating through the lush jungle scenery and enjoying the peaceful parts of the river between the more exciting moments. It felt adventurous without being too intense, making it perfect for our group. We finished with some photos and plenty of laughs before heading back to the Action Center.

If you enjoy hiking and getting away from the usual tourist routes, this expedition is something special. The trek through the Knuckles Forest to Duwili Ella was beautiful, with plenty of natural scenery and places to stop along the way. We had lunch in the jungle before continuing to the campsite near the falls, where we settled in and enjoyed a freshly prepared dinner under the stars. Sleeping so close to the forest and waterfalls was an experience in itself.

This expedition was easily one of the most memorable experiences of our Sri Lanka trip. We were picked up from Kandy and headed towards the Knuckles Forest before starting the trek to Duwili Ella. The trail took us through dense forest and natural bathing spots, and the whole area felt incredibly untouched. Reaching the campsite near the waterfall after a full day of hiking was such a rewarding feeling, especially knowing we would spend the night surrounded by nature. The next day was just as impressive, Swimming in the natural pools surrounded by mountains and forest was unforgettable. The freshly prepared meals at camp were also a welcome treat after hiking. Finishing the expedition by trekking through the village made the experience feel even more special. Definitely challenging at times, but absolutely worth it.

We came to Port City with a group of friends and decided to try the karting track, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our day. The briefing was straightforward, and the training session gave everyone enough time to get familiar with the karts before moving onto the main circuit. Even the people in our group who hadn't driven before were comfortable by the time the real race started. The main track was where we had the most fun. Everyone immediately became competitive, trying to overtake each other and get better lap times, which made for plenty of laughs. The atmosphere was energetic and the whole experience was really easy from start to finish. The complimentary group photo at the end was a nice bonus and gave us something to remember the day by. Definitely worth doing with friends!
