Had such a peaceful getaway at Solar Crab with my friends - the getaway we didn’t knew we needed! The interiors are beautiful, the surroundings are calm, and the caretaker was incredibly kind (his rice and curry was amazing btw!). Just an hour from Colombo, but feels like a complete escape. Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved the place
Went on a day trip to celebrate my birthday to this amazing property. I absolutely loved the place coz it was very calm and serene with all the beautiful views and the great architecture of the property itself. Most importantly the place has a lot of privacy compared to a hotel of such nature.

This Villa is the perfect weekend getaway location. Complete with a private plunge pool and private lake access (with kayaks), the villa is designed to blend in seamlessly with the surrounding environment. The interior decor and floor plan is stunning and ideal for a relaxing vacation by the water. Highly recommend for groups less than 10!

The staff is truly amazing
We had a wonderful stay of 2 days at Wanakaset. The Glamping offers a couple of rooms with a view over the jungle. It has one room with a 180 degree view over the jungle. Same view is there one story down from the joint room below. What a view, the birds and monkeys are around you. We had fun when the monkeys were playing at and in the pond. The staff is truly amazing. They offered me a coffee early morning while i was up early for birdwatching. They serve vegetarian local meals which are prepared with ingredients from the jungle. If you can get over the luxury of a swimming pool and a menucard, then this is an excellent spot to relax and enjoy nature.
