Operation Hours
We can start once you arrive at our location. No fixed timings, but we recommend starting around 8 AM. Best to leave Meemure around 4:00 PM to return before dark.

Trek to the hidden Diyakerella Falls
Embark on a scenic 2/3 hours trek deep into the Knuckles Range. Along the way, discover a trail dotted with multiple small waterfalls before reaching the awe-inspiring Diyakerella Waterfall which is hidden beauty surrounded by raw wilderness.
Nature, water & caution
Feel free to dip your feet or cool off near the waterfall, but please note: bathing is not recommended due to safety concerns. Your guide will ensure a secure and enjoyable experience throughout.
Lunch & leisure time
Return to the village for a freshly prepared local lunch. Afterward, unwind, explore the surroundings, or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful rhythm of Meemure life.
Evening tea & safe departure with happiness

Do not consume alcohol, intoxicants, or heavy meals before activities.
The forest is home to many different creatures and teeming with leeches. Carry a bottle of Dettol antiseptic to quickly detach any leeches that may cling to you. Beware of allergies to insect bites and stings.
We need to know if you are suffering from heart conditions, epilepsy, or any other medical condition before participating in our activities. Especially food allergies.
Be honest about your level of fitness. Do not attempt an activity if you are not in a condition to participate.
Please wear suitable clothing and shoes for the activity. Make sure they're comfortable and that you won't mind them getting a bit damp or muddy.

Really enjoyed this trekking experience. It’s more about the journey than just the destination. The trail itself is beautiful, with multiple small waterfalls along the way. The main waterfall is impressive and feels very untouched. Even though swimming isn’t recommended, just being there is enough. What I liked most is how the day is balanced — a good trek in the morning, followed by a relaxed afternoon with food and tea. It’s a great way to experience Meemure beyond just a quick visit.
It’s not just one destination.
It’s not just one destination along the way, you pass several small waterfalls and streams, which makes the whole journey interesting. The trail is a bit challenging in parts, but nothing too extreme. Reaching the main waterfall felt rewarding. It’s quiet, untouched, and surrounded by nature. Even just sitting there and taking it all in was worth the trek. Coming back to a proper local lunch and ending the day with tea made the whole experience feel complete. Very peaceful and well organized.

You’re walking through forest paths, crossing little streams, and constantly hearing water nearby. The highlight is obviously Diyakerella Falls. It’s not crowded or commercialized, which makes it even more special. The guides were helpful and made sure everything was safe, especially around the waterfall area. It’s a bit of a long day, but it doesn’t feel rushed. You get time to enjoy both the trek and the peaceful village life after.
