Our 2026 Knuckles Five Peaks Challenge invites the brave to conquer Sri Lanka's most legendary mountain marathon in a single breathtaking day. Starting from Thangappuwa, participants traverse all five major peaks - covering over 20km through UNESCO World Heritage wilderness. The journey weaves through emerald tea estates, mystical pygmy forests, misty cloud forests, and windswept grassland plateaus while spotting endemic wildlife in crystal streams. This is not just a hike - it's a test of endurance, mental strength, and mountain spirit. Summit by summit, you'll push your limits and earn panoramic views that few ever witness.
