Lakshapana waterfall is one of the most scenic waterfalls in Sri Lanka, located in the Nuwara Eliya district. It is the 8th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and the 625th highest waterfall in the world. Abseiling Lakshapana waterfall involves descending beside the falls, into the abyss of the canyon and will definitely be a thrilling and rewarding experience for those who take on this challenge.
Getting there is the start of the challenge. abseiling Lakshapana waterfall requires a high level of fitness, skill, and courage. You have to hike through the rainforest for about an hour to reach the top of the waterfall. The descent requires that you control your speed and balance as you lower yourself down the waterfall, all the while enjoying the view of the forest, river, and mountains. You have to be careful not to slip or get hit by rocks or branches. You also have to be prepared for the cold and wet conditions.
