Operation Hours
Paragliding is available daily from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM during daylight hours. Morning and late afternoon flights are the most popular, with evening sessions offering especially stunning views of the sunset.
Weather Dependent Activity Notice
Paragliding is highly weather-dependent. Flights may be delayed or cancelled at short notice due to wind or changing weather conditions that cannot be accurately predicted in advance. Please be prepared for last-minute adjustments.

Pickup from Ella
We pick you up from your accommodation in Ella and take you to the Makaldeniya - Poonagala take-off site. Guests with their own transport can meet us at the site.
Welcome & Safety Briefing
Meet your certified pilot for an introduction and a full safety briefing. Participants sign a standard declaration form before flying.
Pre-Flight Preparation
Your pilot fits and checks all flying equipment, then walks you through the take-off.
Tandem Paragliding Experience
Enjoy 15-20 minutes in the air (weather permitting), with panoramic views of tea estates, valleys and the surrounding mountains.
Assisted Landing
Glide down to a smooth landing in the paddy fields of Wellawaya, with your pilot guiding you all the way.
Return Transfer
Our transport takes you from the landing site back to the take-off point to wrap up your sky adventure.

I came to Sri Lanka do some solo Paragliding and found them over Instagram. They have a nice crew and the area is fun to fly, just be careful with Lee situations at the takeoff.

I had never tried paragliding before, so I was quite nervous at first. The instructor made me feel comfortable and explained everything before takeoff. Once we were flying, I completely forgot about being nervous. The views around mountains and paddy fields were beautiful!
